第1回さいくりシネマテーク、終了しました。

私はこの作品を24年ぶりに観ましたが、鑑賞の仕方が大きく変わっていることに気がつきました。
以前は非常に感覚的に観ており、今回は論理立てて物語を追っていました。

上映後に少しだけ参加者のみなさんとお話しする機会を持てましたが、20代の方の感想が、以前見た際の私の感想にとても似ていて、何か安堵感のようなものを覚えました（ピーターパンで、お父さんが、「あの船ならお父さんも子供の時見たことがあるよ」と言う、あのラストに描かれたお父さんの感情に似ているのかもしれません）。

自分の見方がより成熟した、というような問題ではなく、同じ物を観ていても、世代によって捉え方や楽しみ方は大いに異なるということを強く感じました。そして、それは同じ人の中でも起こりうるのであって、人間はそうした変化や多様性をできるだけ受け容れて楽しむべきだとも思いました。

それにしても、今回のシネマテーク、少人数のご参加ではありましたが、さまざまなバックグラウンドで、世代もそれぞれに違う方々が集まってくださったのはとてもありがたいと思いました。同じ物を観てその感想を交わし合うということが、これ程勉強になるとは思いませんでした。

The first Saijo Clinic Cinematheque has just ended.

I watched this film for the first time in 24 years, and I noticed that my way of watching it has changed a lot.
When I watched it before, I watched it very sensitively, but this time I followed the story logically.

After the screening, I had a chance to talk with the participants for a while, and I felt a sense of relief because the impression of the woman in her twenties was very similar to my impressions when I saw the movie before (perhaps it was similar to the father’s emotion in the last scene of Peter Pan, where he says, “I’ve seen that boat when I was a kid.)

It’s not a matter of my view becoming more mature, but I strongly felt that even when we see the same thing, the way we perceive and enjoy it differs greatly from generation to generation. I also realized that this can happen even among the same people and that we should accept and enjoy such changes and diversity as much as possible.

Although the number of participants in this time’s Cinematheque was small, I was very grateful that people from different backgrounds and generations gathered together. I had not realized how much I could learn from watching the same film and exchanging each impression.
