第2回さいくりシネマテーク、終了しました。
今回は前回の失態を反省し、ブルーレイディスクプレーヤーを設置しましたので、当院における最高画質と最高音質を楽しむことができました。椅子の高低差や座り心地の問題も、少しの工夫で解決できました。2回目でわかったことは、12名くらいまででしたら快適にご鑑賞いただけるだろうということでした。
さて、この作品ですが、やはり素晴らしいの一語に尽きました。私が観るのはこれで2回目なので、1回目程の感動は味わえないかなと思っていたのですが、初回の鑑賞時に落涙した場面の随分前から、星飛雄馬のように涙を流していました。誰の心にもある無垢なる気持ちをそのまま全身に、全人生に表現してしまう彼の愚直ともいえるようなひたむきな生き方に心を打たれたのでしょうか。彼の同僚が最期に言います。「奴は人間の可能性というものを象徴している」と。そして「彼のことを話すのがとても幸せなんだ、わかるだろこの気持ち？」と。
・・・はい、わかります。

The 2nd Saijo Clinic Cinematheque has just ended.
After the recent mishap of not being able to show a scheduled film, this time we installed a Blu-ray player, so we could enjoy the best picture and sound quality in our clinic. With a little bit of ingenuity, we were able to solve the problem of the height difference between the chairs and the comfort of the audience. Throughout the two operations, we found that up to 12 people would be able to watch the film comfortably.
As for the film, it was wonderful. This is the second time I have seen it and I thought I would not be as moved as I was on the first viewing, but I was crying like Hoshi Hyuma, a protagonist in the famous Japanese Manga, long before the scene that brought me to tears on the first viewing. I wondered if I had been struck by the way he lived his life, the way he expressed the innocence that is in everyone’s heart, with his whole body, with his whole life. As one of his colleagues says at the end of the film: “He symbolizes the possibilities of humanity”. “I’m so happy to talk about him, You know this feeling, don’t you?”
… Yes, I do understand.
