さいくりシネマテーク、上映終了しました。
小津安二郎監督のお茶漬けの味でした。
当時の庶民（といってもかなり裕福なのかもしれませんが）の生活を軽快に、かつユーモラスに描いたこの作品、私は個人的には東京物語よりも気に入っています。
軽妙で洒脱な雰囲気の一方で、身近ではあるけれども、誰もが何かおかしいと思いながら、それ以上にはふれずにすませている「夫婦」という深遠なテーマに切り込んでいるのです。
この映画を現代風に焼き直した作品が「アイズワイドシャット」だと思っているのですが、
皆様はどう思われますか？

Saijo Clinic Cinematheque has just finished.
It was “The Flavor of Green Tea over Rice” by Yasujiro Ozu.
This light-hearted and humorous film about the life of the ordinary people of the time (though perhaps quite wealthy) is a personal favourite of mine, even more so than “Tokyo Story”.
It’s light and airy, but it also taps into a profound theme that we’re all familiar with, one that we all find strange, but don’t go any further than that: marital bond.
I believe that Eyes Wide Shut is a modern version of this film.
