2月22日のさいくりシネマテークは、鈴木清順監督の追悼上映を行いました。

鈴木清順監督の作品で私が好きなのは、何と言っても大正三部作、なかでもツィゴイネルワイゼンなのですが、
夜間に始まるこのシネマテークは、諸事情であまり遅くまでの上映はできません。
そこで比較的上映時間が短いこちらを選んでみました。

ほのぼのとした破天荒といいますか・・・まあしかし、こうやって撮ってしまわれるのか、という驚きも挟みつつ、微笑みながら鑑賞させて頂きました。

22 February 2017 Screening.

On 22 February, Saijo Clinic Cinematheque held a memorial screening for director Seijun Suzuki.

This cinematheque, which starts at night, cannot show screenings very late for various reasons.
So we chose this one, which has a relatively short screening time
though my favourite film by director Seijun Suzuki is, undoubtedly, his Taisho Trilogy, especially Zigeunerweisen.

The film is a heartwarming and unprecedented film… well, I was surprised to see it filmed this way,
but I watched it with a smile on my face.

The next Saijo Clinic Cinematheque will start on Wednesday 8 March at 20:30.
